Stages of Learning Through Play

April 30 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Free

Join us to understand the value of play at each age of your child?s development and know whether or not your child is on track for kindergarten.

The purpose of this Impact Lab is for parents to understand the value of play at each age of their child’s development and know whether or not their child is on track for kindergarten. A Gwinnett Building Babies (GBBB) Ambassador will talk about how, when, and why GBBB was started.

The Ambassador will describe each of the following play stations: block, puzzle, fine motor, dramatic play. Parents will be provided with cards for each station that describes what a child should be able to do at each age, birth to kindergarten. Parents will be advised to choose a station to take their child to play. A Parent Engagement Specialist will be at each station to direct parents and/or answer questions.

There will also be a GBBB table for parents to visit and receive postcards and take the 10 question survey in the GBBB website toolkit. An ECSE representative will be available for parents who have questions and/or concerns.
